The mission of Excelsior is to strengthen and educate youth and families to achieve lasting success through a continuum of innovative treatments, services and solutions. Excelsior uses the Empower Youth Program as an exploitation prevention tool. Excelsior also partners with Empathize through PEAK, Preventing Exploitation through Awareness and Knowledge, to make licensed counseling service available to Colorado schools interested in additional support as they facilitate the Empower Youth Program with their own students. The mission of Truckers Against Trafficking is to educate, equip, empower and mobilize members of the trucking and travel plaza industry to combat domestic sex trafficking. iEmpathize partners with Truckers Against Trafficking on outreach strategies and media curricula and campaigns used to engage the industry. This includes several training films, print resources, and the Freedom Driver Project, a mobile exhibit educating audiences industry about the realities of domestic sex trafficking.
BASE Education (www.base-ed.com) provides “at-risk” students with behavioral alternatives to suspension and expulsion, judicial mandates, and mental health interventions through integrative learning approaches. Students complete an online program that addresses their behaviors through didactic and factual learning, as well as through social-emotional exploration that systemically includes adult interaction.
In an effort to broaden our ability to meet the needs of all teens, BASE Education partners with iEmpathize. BASE Education proudly provides the online platform for delivering iEmpathize’s custom content.
Never Settle develops and specializes in numerous tech solutions for their clients. Never Settle has supported iEmpathize since our inception by designing and maintaining our website while also providing regular technical support as our needs continue to evolve as an organization.
iEmpathize recently became a member of Creative Vision’s Creative Activist Network and Be Relentless was selected to be a part of The Creative Activist Program. Creative Visions’ Creative Activist Program helps impact media makers develop and launch projects that use the power of story to raise awareness, drive change and awaken people to the potential of creating solutions to challenging local and global problems.
Norma Bastidas & Be Relentless are official Ambassadors of the UNODC’s Blue Heart Campaign. Since the Blue Heart campaign was launched in Mexico in April 2010, UNODC has been working in the prevention of human trafficking and to raise awareness among those most vulnerable to this crime.
