Host a Home Event
Open Your Home. Share a Meal. Change Lives.
Making a difference in the lives of vulnerable and victimized youth can start with something as simple as a warm meal and comfortable living room. If you’d like to be a part of the mission of iEmpathize, a Home Event is a simple and impactful way to help. Through a Home Event, you can engage your friends and family by spreading culture-changing empathy that can have an impact in your community, while also raising money for prevention programming for youth at the same time.
How it works.
1. Invite friends, family, neighbors, or co-workers to your home to share a meal in a “Dinner for a Cause” format. Invite them to plan to make a donation when they arrive, perhaps in the amount of what they might spend if they went out to eat at a restaurant. Whether you go all in making a meal as the “hostess with the mostest” or serve it up potluck-style is up to you! Have fun!
2. Use iE media! Feel free to share our videos or our website with your guests. You can stream them at your home event, or just share them with your guests via email or social media. These tools are here for you if you want them!
3. Share your care! Whether in person or online, explain why you care about this issue and why you want to do something to help.
A Home Event is all about infusing your personality and passion into making a difference for kids. You can always contact iEmpathize if you have questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
