On March 1st of this year, ultra-althlete Norma Bastidas began the first day of the world’s longest triathlon as a demonstration of her commitment to ending human trafficking. Her triathlon includes an 700 mile run from Montgomery, Alabama to Washington, D.C.
On May 26th, iEmpathize supporters will come together to demonstrate that same relentless commitment to the protection and restoration of vulnerable children. Join us in raising funds and standing in solidarity with Norma on behalf of our community’s kids!
Our hope is to see communities across Colorado help us help kids by running (or walking!) the BolderBoulder to raise significant funds for the Denver Hub’s projects and partners. Be a team captain and create a team, join a pre-existing team, or run as an individual participant. Help us engage businesses, faith communities, and the public. Help us help kids and have fun while you’re at it!
This year’s event benefits the projects and partners of iEmpathize’s Denver Hub. The Denver Hub provides valuable prevention services to Colorado communities. For instance, our Empower Youth Program is an engaging, multimedia program designed to empower educators and students to recognize and respond to trafficking and exploitative situations, while also empowering them to use empathy to make a difference in one another’s lives.
