iEmpathize will be meeting with business leaders to discuss program possibilities and ways that their industries can work to engage in recognizing and preventing human trafficking. A meeting will be held with local high school administrators to discuss the Empower Youth Curriculum and allow them to explore the possibility of adopting a program to help their students stand up against trafficking. A film screening will be held at 6:o0pm Friday evening accompanied by a talkback and Human Trafficking 101 presentation to make people to train the community on what they can do to step in and make a difference. This event is sponsored by Boys and Girls Club, Carlsbad School, Boy Scouts, Paradise Chapel, St. Peter’s Lutheran, Carlsbad Family Fellowship, and First Christians Church.
