Join Jefferson County Child and Youth Leadership Commission (CYLC) for this one day professionals training and networking event with tracks specific to Law Enforcement/Judicial, Education, and Victim Responders (Human Services, Mental Health, Medical, Probation).
Scheduled sessions include:
- Trauma and Trafficking Victims
- Why Human Trafficking is a Systems Responsibility
- Identification, Assessment, and Working with Law Enforcement
- Medical Aspects
- Empowering Children and Their Families
A panel of Jefferson County survivors will be present at the end of each day to field questions from participants and share their stories.
A boxed lunch and beverage will be provided at no cost to each participant. Sign in starts at 7:30 a.m. each morning. Speakers begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. A resource fair with programs/resources specific to Colorado will be present each afternoon.
June 4 and 5 include the same content so attendance at both days is not necessary.
Specific professional sessions are limited to 200 participants. Please register for the professional track that most closely fits your current profession. The Law Enforcement/Judicial professional track is limited to participants employed as a law enforcement or judicial professional.
