Something that struck me this year is that while iEmpathize is committed to constantly reaching out to new communities, kids, regions, and industry sectors, iE is also committed to being steadfast among those with whom we have already developed a relationship. This means that iE returns again and again to work with the kids in the safe homes and schools that we have committed to since our first years as an organization. It means that iE goes to the same truck shows every year, working with one trucker at a time to inspire them to empathize and engage. It means that our partners, such as Truckers Against Trafficking, can depend on us for fresh ideas and new media campaigns, and we will be right there for them, creating more material to engage our audience. It means that we know and cherish our volunteers, our donors, and our partners, because we are all in this together, and we will be until we eradicate child exploitation once and for all. iEmpathize will always be looking for the next community to engage, but we will also be right there among those who we’ve walked side by side with from the beginning.
