In June, I had the opportunity to meet multiple survivors from our partnering safe homes, Camino a Casa and Reintegra. At one home I got to help the girls by painting, cleaning, and fixing up their new building. But most importantly, I was given the chance to hang out with the girls, hear their stories, and love on them. Talking with one survivor in particular, I was excited to hear how her rescue has allowed her to have hopes and dreams. Her rescue and restoration have given her a new strength and courage and a desire to help others by sharing her story in order to help prevent them from being exploited as well. iEmpathize’s mission is to empower the kids and sectors most affected by child sexual exploitation. The restoration of these girls was proof that iEmpathize is accomplishing this mission.
