-High School Counselor, Denver COThe Empower Youth Program is a game-changer because it captures the conversations that we all need to have with kids but don’t know how to. This exploitation prevention program is effective because it features youth sharing advice with youth. It is effective because it activates youth and adults to partner together to end exploitation in the lives of those youth. After three years of development, collaboration, production, and piloting we officially launched the Empower Youth Program in April of this year. Since that launch, it has been ordered from 12 states to be used in schools, residential treatment facilities, faith communities, juvenile corrections programs, and other youth-centered organizations. And since that launch, it has made a profound difference in the lives of hundreds of students, educators, and parents.
